Sitting on the bed with his daughter, Mr. Krupp was able to calm the saddened and angered Hope down. He explained to her that no woman would ever replace her, and that she was his princess and he loved her more than anything. She knew all this and hearing her father say it reconfirmed how much he really cared. After a fun dad and daughter date to the pizza place she hugged him good night and he turned out her light and she remembered how great a father he was, even though others didn't really see it. She loved her dad...

But this Bri had to go...

She was going to make her dad look as dumb as he did as that silly Captain Underpants! She was going to make Bri think he was a loser. Sure it would hurt seeing her dad so sad from his failed date, but then Hope could do what her name implied and give him hope! She would be his baby girl and she would cheer him back up in no time. If she was lucky she would make it so awkward that Bri would have to look for another school to teach at!

The next day they got lunch and spent some time together watching cartoons and she even let Mr. Krupp watch the news! She was very happy, after her plan went into motion, she wouldn't have to worry about Bri anymore that was for sure. Phase one was just about to begin as her father came down stairs trying to get ready for his big date.

"Dad, you know I am not excited about this, but you need to at least dress nicely! that tie doesn't even match!" Hope lied as he was tying his tie. "You should wear that silly tie I got you for Christmas, and untuck your shirt and look more casual!" Mr. Krupp chuckled.

"Hope we talked about this... I know what you are trying to do!" He said in reply. "Mario's is a nice restaurant, I'm not about to embarrass myself and run poor Bri away."

"Well... she should run away if she knows whats good for her!" Bri huffed and crossed her arms like a pouty little 4th grader. Sometimes Mr. Krupp had to remind himself how young she was, she always did so good in school and was mature for her age. Lately though, her age had been showing.

"Hope, you know I would never replace you, can you try to tell me what is wrong with Bri? Why are you so upset about it? It is only an innocent dinner." Mr. Krupp said.

"I dont like her daddy! You already... you chose to save her and... and you looked at her that way and she likes you..." Hope was sniffling some and Mr. Krupp took her in his arms.

"Its just a dinner Hope..." Mr. Krupp chuckled. "After she gets to know me and see how badly I am with the ladies we probably wont see her again!" Mr. Krupp said jokingly to try and get a laugh, but Hope stayed sad and dead serious. "Bri, I dont know what you are talking about about this saving her, what kind of fantasy world you are living where I would save people's lives... probably some joke or prank those two crazy boys got you involved in!"

"I just... Dad, cant it just be you and me, like always?" Hope looked up hopefully. "Just cancel the date! I will even let you pick the restaurant!" Mr. Krupp sighed.

"Hope it will always be me and you, no lady or anything will change that, but perhaps there is a chance for me to get to know somebody really cool!" Mr. Krupp said. Hope huffed and stored off.

"Fine! Go have fun on your stupid date!" Hope slammed her door and Mr. Krupp her the car pull up with loud music; Dakota. Dakota looked ridiculous with her long brown hair and purple underneath. She was a bit crazy, but she was Hope's cousin and cheap.

"Take good care of my baby girl now..." Mr. Krupp said.

"Like duh... I always do..." Dakota rolled her eyes. Mr. Krupp got in his car and headed off to pick up some things first. the dinner reservations weren't for another hour.

The hour before six was plenty of time for Hope to get her plans in motion. Teaming up with Herold and George was gonna be weird, but they owed her and were also the masters of harassing and embarrassing her dad. Dakota immediately flipped on the tv and got to texting. Hope walked right behind her and coughed. Dakota didn't even look up. How did she even drive there and not get in a wreck being on her phone like that!? Hope thought.

"Hey Dakota, I'm gonna go play in the road, with some venomous snakes..." Hope said.

"Yea, whatever... you can watch all the tv you want upstairs..." Dakota replied. what a weirdo. Hope smiled deviously and rushed outside. She knew a shortcut on her bike to Mario's and would have plenty of time to set her dads humiliating date traps! Much to her relief Herold and George were waiting outside the back door to Mario's.

"So the goody goody teachers pet has come to the dark side!" Herold laughed.

"Looks like the truth is finally revealed!" George chimed in.

"Shut up guys... I still know just the ways of getting you in detention!" Hope threatened.

"Really though Hope, why the change of heart?" Herold asked.

"My Dad does NOT need to be with that woman, trust me on it..." Hope said.

"Your um "Dad" as you call him, is probably the most bland and unfriendly guy I know, a sweet teacher like Bri will never fall for him anyways!" George said still not sure Hope was even his kid!

"Yea, for real, I bet she is taking him out cause she feels guilty she didn't thank him for saving her!" Herold said.

"Me Dad is cooler than you guys think okay!?" Hope said. "Either way though, we really gotta prank him good, this date cannot end well for him, even though I love him."

"Whatever you say," Herold said. "I mean weird but any time I get to embarrass or prank Principle Krupp I'm game!"

"Enough blabbering on guys lets get to work!" George said. "I know how to sneak into Mario's..."

Mr. Krupp pulled his car around the nice little driveway leading up to Bri's home. Closing the door he adjusted his tie and sighed. He was quite nervous, this was his first date in a long long time! He had grabbed some roses on his way over and put them in a bouquet. He knocked twice and waited.

Bri answered the door in a cute dress that made Mr. Krupp blush. He couldn't help it, she just looked so good in green! As he stood and stared she spoke up first.

"Oh for me?" She asked. Mr. Krupp realizing he was just staring cleared his throat and extended the flowers.

"Oh... yes... for you!" He said. Bri smelled them and sighed.

"I have a perfect vase for these flowers! Thank you so much, that was very sweet of you and unnecessary!" Bri said as she too blushed.

"Shall we?" Mr. Krupp was feeling pretty good about himself so far! He had made her blush! He opened her car door and then closed it gently and walked around getting in. Cranking the car Mr. Krupp turned on the air a little. It was a good five minute drive and with both of them a little nervous it was best to stay cool and fresh for the date.

As they drove at first in silence, Mr. Krupp knew he needed to chat with her, kind of worried she may get bored of him!

"So that science class, how are you enjoying your transfer miss Bri?" Mr. Krupp asked as he turned down the road.

"Oh its wonderful, some great students I must admit! That daughter of yours is a great student, although she can have an attitude." Bri replied. "Oh and just call me Bri!" Bri smiled.

"Oh my little Hope is an excellent student, although I am not sure why she has picked up this little attitude, I do apologize as she is usually unlike this!" Mr. Krupp replied. The whiff he got of rotting fish really bother his nose and even Bri was scrunching her nose. Where was it coming from? Did a fisherman dump his bait on the side of the road?

"Um... what do you think that smell is?" Mr. Krupp finally asked as he realized it really wasn't going away.

"Smells like dead fish!" Bri laughed but was covering her nose. "But the river is so far from this road!"

"I was thinking the same thing!" Mr. Krupp said then saw it... inside the vent of his car, a quick flash of scales from the glare of the car headlights behind them. There was a dead fish in the vent! "Oh my god!" Mr. Krupp slowly pulled off the road.

"Is everything okay!?" Bri asked worried. Mr. Krupp sighed heavy.

"Well... the smell is coming from my own car Bri... I apologize for this! I just... how did it get there?" Mr. Krupp fiddled with a pencil trying to reach the fish.

"Are you a fisherman?" Bri asked trying to be polite while the bad smell filled the car. Mr. Krupp finally snapped off the front of the air vent and was able to pull the fish out with a pencil.

"No... I sure am not... I have a bad feeling somebody may be trying to prank me..." Mr. Krupp tossed the dead fish and turned to Bri. "I am really sorry about that, but at least it was found and we dealt with it!" Bri giggled a little.

"Its not so bad! I just am glad we are eating Italian and not Seafood now!" She said and they both laughed. Somehow the date wasn't ruined! Mr. Krupp was starting to fear that George and Herold had a hand in this though. Well their little prank hadn't worked! Bri and Mr. Krupp were laughing! That was good!

With the windows rolled down and Bri's hair a bit more frizzy, they arrived at Mario's. The fish smell was mostly gone and Mr. Krupp would have to investigate, but for now, he was more excited about the date! Without even hardly thinking he extended an arm for Bri to hold onto and she took it with a smile.

"Haven't seen that in awhile..." She said softly. "Very gentlemanly of you!"

"Thank you.. its the least I could do!" Mr. Krupp smiled. After they entered Mario's Mr. Krupp took a good look around, no sign of Herold or George, those dastardly boys he worried might cause a problem. With a smile they followed the waiter to their seats. Mr. Krupp checked his, a nice red velvet chair, quite fancy and no sign of a prank. After pulling out the chair for Bri Mr. Krupp slowly sat back in his own.

The loud and sudden farting sound made pretty much everyone in Mario's turn and look at Mr. Krupp. His eyes got wide and his face was beet red. Slowly he sat up knowing he did not just fart out the loudest fart ever. Reaching under his seat he pulled out the whoopee cushion. But before he could show it to Bri he felt it snatched from his hand.

Quickly he pulled up the table cloth, still pretty much being stared at by everyone in the restaurant. Nobody was there! How did it just get snatched from thin air!? Mr. Krupp realized then everyone was staring and even Bri was wide eyed.

"Um... uh... whoops..." Was all he could say. People slowly lost interest, some whispering about his manners, others being a little more angry about their dinner interrupted. Bri tried to act normal and shrugged.

"Its okay Benny... can I call you that?" Bri asked. "I mean... who cares, I am excited to place my order!" Mr. Krupp, though embarrassed smiled and nodded.

"I just feel bad I mean... I am sorry..." He finally decided to forget it and try to make the night go more smoothly. How had he been pranked so fast?

George gave Herold five as he returned from placing the whoopee cushion. George had then used the string and fishing rod it was hooked to to reel it away from Mr. Krupp before he could show the people. So now everybody thought Mr. Krupp farted! Hope was practically rolling on the floor laughing in their hiding place under the stairs in a small cubby area.

"Right on! Mission accomplished!" Herold said as George nodded.

"Plan B! Get ready!" Hope snapped as she recovered from laughing. Bri would never want another date with Mr. Krupp when she was through. She smiled and giggled a bit wickedly!

Mr. Krupp ordered the lasagna and Bri ordered the Chicken Parmesan. The waiter was returning with their drinks when "Plan B" went into action. The boys, under Hope's orders had put a very fine, but also very strong fishing line down and in this moment stretched it tight. The waiter never saw the line until it was too late. Hope only hoped the master prankster boys had put it in the right spot.

"Mamma Mia!" The waiter gasped as he staggered, catching himself, but not the pitcher of water being brought to the table! It tumbled through the air and with a splash, landed on the table and poured ice cold water into Mr. Krupp's lap! Mr. Krupp let out a high pitched scream as the cold water was so cold! Again people in Mario's began to whisper and shake their head, mad at him for interrupting! The cold water went everywhere and mostly just stained the front of his pants so it looked like he had had an accident! Mr. Krupp jumped to his feet and tried to wipe the water off but it was soaked in!

Bri looked at him very surprised and worried.

"Are you okay!?" She asked. "Here why dont you go to the men's room, gosh! That must have been so cold! Watch where you step silly!" Bri snapped at the waiter. As Mr. Krupp left with his red blushing face to the bathroom the waiter shook his head.

"I didn't mean it, I tripped over fishing line... its... its... why its gone now!" He said. Bri sighed.

"Its okay, just... try to be more careful?" She said.

In the bathroom Mr. Krupp wasn't just embarrassed, he was angry! It had to be those two boys! Why and how were they so good at pranks!? After drying his pants best he could with the hand towels, he went over to the automatic and kinda stood under it. Much to his horror when it activated it blew flour all over his wet pants! The wet mixed with the flour and became like a white paste of goo!

"Are you kidding me!?" Mr. Krupp could have sworn he heard laughing in one of the stalls. "Herold! George!?" Mr. Krupp kicked open the stall and to his horror a man, watching a funny video on his phone looked up.

"Dude!? What is your problem!?" The man said covering himself. "And what on earth happened to you?" The man laughed at him, standing there covered in gooey flour mixed with the water on his pants and hands.

"So so sorry sir..." Mr. Krupp closed the door and sighed. He looked ridiculous. After wiping it off, he realized there was no way to get all of it off. He shuffled his feet as he walked back to the table, still covered in splotches of white goo and his pants still darkened like he wet himself.

The food arrived and the waiter just looked at him. Wide eyed. Bri looked very pitiful, she had so much sympathy for him and wondered how one man could have so much bad luck. He sat down and looked at his lasagna. He wasn't even hungry now. With his flour covered face he looked up at Bri.

"I am sorry... I feel terrible about all this..." Mr. Krupp confessed looking pretty down. Bri smiled and leaned forward. To his shock she planted a kiss right on his cheek.

"You don't need to apologize, they were all accidents... but I do want to know the story of whatever went wrong int he men's room!" Even though he was totally humiliated, Mr. Krupp laughed along.

Hope's eyes narrowed as Herold and George celebrated thinking they had accomplished the plans.

"Looks like B and C were spot on!" George said. Then he say Hope's face was sad. "What's wrong Hope? We did it, we got all the pranks to work!"

"She kissed him..." Hope said softly. "She... she kissed him even after all that..."

"My mom kisses me on the cheek! Nah! That is nothing!" Herold tried to cheer her up. But Hope saw that the owner; Mario, had spotted them. Smartly she dashed into the crowd and got away just as he grabbed Herold and George by their shirts!

"So here are the boys terrorizing my guests!" Mario shouted. Mr. Krupp laid eyes on them and so did Bri. People were laughing now, at Mr. Krupp mostly, cause two little boys had embarrassed him so well. Mr. Krupp narrowed his eyes at them as Mario practically tossed them out of the door.

"I told you I was pranked!" Mr. Krupp proclaimed as they walked to the car. Bri held onto his arm and even though he had been a bit over emotional about a few little boys, she was still feeling herself falling for this man.

Hope ran the whole way home crying. All that trouble and that witch still kissed her dad! Her dad looked like a complete idiot thanks to her and those boys, but still... she kissed him. Dakota was on the phone on the couch. Hope walked over and jerked the phone charger out of the wall.

"What the heck Hope!?" Dakota snapped.

"I just ran all over town, what good are you as a babysitter!? Hope shouted back and ran upstairs crying.

"Hey! Hey come back!" Dakota followed her upstairs. Hope sobbed on the bed. "Um... do you wanna talk to your big cousin about it?"

"I just want my daddy... and I dont like that he is being stolen!" Hope said. Dakota rolled her eyes and blew another gum bubble. "Like how bout I read you a story or something? Nathan is being stupid anyways, so I am not calling him back!"

"Sure... you can read to me... since you let me out of the house and all..." Hope replied pulling up the covers.

"Here... Little Red Riding Hood..." Dakota said smiling. "Lets read this book."
Mr. Krupp gets a chance at a date! But will Hope be able to sabotage it enough and ruin the evening for her dad?
